Resolving the multiple accounts error when resetting your password

This article explains how to resolve the multiple accounts error that appears when your email address is associated with more than one user account in Beakon.
1. Understanding the error
The multiple accounts message appears when the system finds your email address linked to more than one user account. When this occurs, Beakon requires both your email address and username to identify which account needs the password reset.
2. Resetting your password with multiple accounts
To reset your password when you have multiple accounts:
- Enter your email address in the password reset form.
- Enter your username in the username field.
- Click Submit to proceed with the password reset.
Note: If you do not remember your username, contact your company administrator or Beakon Support for assistance.
3. Getting additional help
If the password reset continues to fail after entering both your email address and username, contact your company administrator or Beakon Support. They can reset your password manually and help resolve any account issues.
